La Romana is the third largest city in the Dominican Republic, boasting a population of approximately 130,426 within the city's boundaries. It serves as the capital of the southeastern province of La Romana, located opposite Catalina Island. The city is in close proximity to several other cities, including San Pedro de Macorís and the national capital, Santo Domingo de Guzmán. La Romana is a bustling hub for the burgeoning tourist industry, with several local resort spots nearby, such as the beachfront Bayahibe, Dominicus, Casa de Campo, and an increasing number of golf resorts in the surrounding area. A popular mode of transportation in the town is riding motorbikes, as well as taking gua guas, another term for buses. A must-see attraction is Altos de Chavon, a "village" that replicates 15th century colonial architecture. It features numerous restaurants, a museum housing Taino artifacts, and offers a breathtaking view of the Chavon River. This enchanting replica of an Italian village was constructed by a man as a gift for his daughter. Additionally, artists from Sinatra to Cocoband have performed at its large amphitheater.

The population in 2011 was 68,809, spread over an area of 232.99 square kilometers (89.96 square miles). The historical city, made up of the three central civil parishes of São Pedro, São Sebastião, and São José, has 17,629 residents. Ponta Delgada became the region's administrative capital under the revised constitution of 1976; however, the judiciary and Catholic see remained in the historical capital of Angra do Heroísmo, while the Legislative Assembly of the Azores was established in Horta.

The capital of Portugal boasts numerous museums, libraries, a vast port, churches, palaces, and breathtaking views of the Rio Tajo. Once considered a poor and chaotic city, Lisbon has undergone a revival reminiscent of the 14th and 15th centuries when it was part of a vast empire stretching from Brazil to India. This resurgence was sparked by the World Expo held in 1998, which led to the construction of a new bridge over the Tagus and the remodeling of the city's subway system. The city's revival continued when it hosted several matches during the 2004 Euro and the MTV Delivery Music Awards in 2005. Many of its most beautiful buildings date back to the 14th and 15th centuries, particularly those in the Belem district. Le Havre is a port city located at the mouth of the Seine River, on the English Channel in the Upper Normandy region of France. The name "Le Havre" translates to "the harbor" in English. Historically, Le Havre has always served as the harbor for Paris, with goods being transferred there between ocean-going vessels and barges that travel to Paris via the Seine River. Le Havre was heavily bombed during the Battle of Normandy. The town's reconstruction was led by August Perret, who used reinforced concrete. This project resulted in the city being added to the UNESCO World Heritage List. The most significant places to visit in Le Havre include St. Joseph's Church, the Cathedrale Notre Dame, the Maison de l'Armateur, and the Town Hall, which is situated on one of the largest squares in France. Visitors can climb the tower for a panoramic view of the city's layout.
