Day 2: Seattle
Spend the day exploring the marvelous metropolis on the Puget Sound, surrounded by wonderful landscape, modern architecture and a relaxed flair to delight every visitor. It is also known as the "Emerald City" because of its rain, mist and many parks. Enjoy the Historic District, a visit to Pike Street Market on the waterfront or enjoy great views from the Space Needle.
Day 3: Seattle – Mt Rainier Np – Yakima
Mount Rainier, a 14,411-foot (4,392 m) stratovolcano with its glaciated peak, is the main attraction of Mt. Rainier National Park. Subalpine wildflower meadows ring the icy volcano, and an ancient forest covers Mount Rainier's lower slopes. An abundance of hiking trails offering hours upon hours of discovery. Day 4: Yakima – Spokane
Spokane is the second largest city in the state of Washington. "Manito Park", Grand Boulevard between 17th Avenue and 25th Avenue, is worth a visit. Among other things, there is a rose garden, and a Japanese garden. From "Monroe Street Bridge you can see "Spokane Falls”, which are most beautiful in the spring and early summer, when they contain the most water. Day 5: Spokane – Helena
Today’s route is a beautiful drive via Lookout Pass through Bitterroot Mountain Range to Helena in Montana. The State Capitol building, on the corner of 6th Street and Montana Street, was constructed out of sandstone and local granite, is well worth a visit. Apx. 500 km/312 mi
Day 6: Helena – Yellowstone Np
The huge Yellowstone National Park was the first National Park. It has a few hundred geysers and about 10,000 hot springs in a beautiful mountain panorama. Apx. 285 km/180 mi
Day 7: Yellowstone Np
Yellowstone National Park is largely a part of the 640,000-year-old caldera of the Yellowstone Volcano. It is over the magma chamber which lays about 8 km under the surface. Explore today this park which is a wonderworld of geysers and hot mud holes, thermal springs and lakes shimmering in a wide range of different turquoise tones.
Day 8: Yellowstone Np – Grand Teton Np – Moran/Jackson
Through the mountain chain of the Grand Tetons with its snow-covered peaks you go on to Jackson Hole. The city was named after a trapper and offers a Wild West experience in the city center, the Jackson Town Square. Apx. 280 km/175 mi
Day 9: Moran/Jackson – Salt Lake City

Day 10: Salt Lake City – Moab

Day 11: Moab
Arches National Park, located approximately 8 km (5 miles) northwest of Moab, has nearly 900 natural stone arches, as well as canyons and balanced boulders. Day 12: Moab – Kayenta/Monument Valley
Carry on to Monument Valley which consists of beautiful table mountains in all shades of red, towering up to 300 meters above the Colorado Plateau and is home to the Navajo Indians. Apx. 270 km/170 mi
Day 13: Kayenta/Monument Valley – Page/Lake Powell
Page, founded in 1957, is a very young town that owes its existence to the nearby reservoir of Lake Powell. On the lake, which is embedded in a red Sandstone formation, contrasting with the deep blue of the lake, you may enjoy a boat tour. Apx. 160 km/100 mi
Day 14: Page – Bryce Canyon Np
Today you drive to Bryce Canyon which presents itself like a fantasy world of sandstone. The park includes some of the Earth's most colorful rocks, which have been sculpted by erosion into pillars and other fantastic forms. Day 15: Bryce Canyon Np – Las Vegas

To get a different perspective on Las Vegas you might want to take a helicopter flight at night or go gambling in one of the famous casinos on the Strip. You could also venture out into the area around Las Vegas and visit Hoover Dam and Lake Mead.

Your trip ends with the rental car return and flight back home.
