Day 1 – Delhi: Arrival in the Capital / Cultural and Monumental Tour Delhi is the vibrant capital of India, a melting pot of history and modernity. This metropolis is the ideal starting point to explore India’s rich heritage, and every corner of the city tells a story that goes back to ancient times. Itinerary and Activities: Arrival in Delhi and transfer to the hotel. Check-in at the hotel and free time to rest and acclimate. In the afternoon, you will receive a brief orientation about the tour you will experience in the following days. Itinerary and Activities: Morning: meeting with your local guide to begin a tour of the historical treasures of Delhi. Visit to the impressive Jama Masjid, one of the largest and most impressive mosques in the country. Rickshaw ride through the narrow and vibrant streets of Chandni Chowk, where you can feel the essence of Old Delhi and observe its daily life. Midday: visit to Raj Ghat, the solemn memorial of Mahatma Gandhi, which invites reflection on his legacy of peace and non-violence. Panoramic tour of colonial buildings, including stops at India Gate and Rashtrapati Bhawan, which highlight the British heritage in the city’s architecture. Afternoon: lunch at a local restaurant. Visit to Gurudwara Bangla Sahib and its mega kitchen, an example of generosity and Sikh tradition. Visit to Qutub Minar and later the Lotus Temple, spaces that offer contrasts between ancient history and contemporary spirituality. Night: return to the hotel to rest. Note: The Lotus Temple and the Red Fort are closed on Mondays.
Day 2 – Delhi to Jaipur: Towards the Pink City Jaipur, known as the “Pink City,” is the capital of the state of Rajasthan and a destination that combines historical splendor and vibrant modernity. Founded in the 18th century, this city stands out for its shining palaces, imposing forts, and colorful bazaars. The architecture of Jaipur, marked by its characteristic pink tone, evokes the elegance of Rajput royalty and offers a unique setting that has inspired legends and popular stories. The hospitality of its inhabitants and the richness of its traditions make Jaipur an unforgettable place for anyone who wishes to immerse themselves in Indian culture. Itinerary and Activities: Morning: after breakfast, you will travel by car from Delhi to Jaipur, with an intermediate stop to rest or have lunch. Midday and Afternoon: arrival in Jaipur and check-in at the hotel or Santosh Villa house. In the afternoon, visit to Birla Temple, known for its white marble architecture and peaceful atmosphere. Night: return to Santosh Villa to enjoy a family dinner with the hosts. The option to participate in a traditional cooking class is offered, and it is requested to inform upon arrival. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 3 – Jaipur: Exploring Its Royal Treasures Itinerary and Activities: Morning: breakfast at the hotel and meeting with your local guide to begin the Jaipur tour. First stop at Hawa Mahal, the iconic “Palace of Winds,” famous for its façade of hundreds of small windows, ideal for a memorable photo. Transfer to Amber Fort, where you will enjoy an elephant ride to reach the entrance of the fort and explore its impressive halls and courtyards, which tell the history of Rajput royalty. The return will be by jeep. Midday: visit to a block printing workshop, where you will learn this ancestral craft technique, followed by lunch at a local restaurant. Afternoon: option to visit gemstone and semi-precious stone workshops to appreciate traditional jewelry art. Visit to the observatory which is also called Jantar Mantar, where you will be surprised that even today the instruments are still functioning well to study time during the day and zodiac signs. After that we visit Gaitore. Night: return to the hotel, with the night free for personal activities or rest. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 4 – Jaipur to Agra via Abhaneri: Historical Route Agra is a legendary city in northern India, world famous for being the birthplace of the romantic and majestic Taj Mahal. This city was the capital of the Mughal Empire and preserves monuments that reflect the greatness and splendor of that era. In addition to the Taj Mahal, Agra houses historical structures such as the Red Fort, which narrate the rich cultural and architectural heritage of the region. The atmosphere in Agra combines the echo of the past with the energy of the present, making it an unmissable destination for those who wish to explore the history and beauty of India. Itinerary and Activities: Morning: breakfast in Jaipur and departure by car towards Agra. On the way, a visit will be made to Abhaneri, a picturesque village known for its ancient stepwell (baori) and historic temples, which offer a fascinating introduction to the architectural heritage of the region. Midday: continuation of the trip to Agra and lunch en route. Arrival in Agra and check-in at the hotel. Afternoon: the rest of the afternoon is free for you to explore Agra at your own pace. As an alternative, you may attend a cultural Bollywood-style show based on the romantic story of the Taj Mahal (tickets must be purchased directly at the theater). Night: return to the hotel to rest.
